Don’tASQ stands for “Don’t Accept the Status Quo.” As human beings, we like situations that are common and predictable. We exert some minimal amount of effort to fit ourselves into a life we’re comfortable in… and then we give up. We rely too much on the old (and frequently disproven) adage, “If if ain’t broke, don’t fix it!” We become too obsessed with making money, doing drugs, or watching American Idol to realize our own capabilities or the capabilities of those around us. At Don’tASQ, we prefer to write about a variety of topics, but it all (usually) ties into our central purpose. Our mission is to instigate positive changes in the common mindset, and positive changes in our own lives, in the hopes that others will follow. We’ll do whatever it takes to be successful — barring anything illegal, destructive, or just plain stupid. Basically, we’re here to change the world. It’s a lofty goal, but we know we’ll succeed, because our Kindergarten teachers never taught us how to fail.
